Use Stories

Data use stories describe a problem and shows how data and technology can address it. By creating a better, faster or more cost-effective solution, ultimately, there is improved policy, program or a person’s wellbeing. The stories explore and explain how and why data changes over time, usually through a series of linked visualizations. We have worked hard with our partners to enable many such situations – and our data use stories are tangible examples of how the government and various communities use data to inform better decision-making, particularly to improve health, economic growth, and gender outcomes.
