The dLab Accelerator has pilot a new model that has brought together the combined support of United States Government agencies, in-country implementors, and a multinational private sector to further support best-in-class local Tanzanian innovators focused on technological solutions that can positively affect health, gender equality, and economic growth.
Launched in January 2021, The dLab Accelerator worked with Tanzanian startups that are addressing social issues in various fields through technology. The eight-week intensive program helped tech founders enhance their venture’s value proposition by exploring product market fit opportunities, and to position their ventures towards investor readiness. The program was held in partnership with Grindstone Africa, powered by Thinkroom and supported by MCC-PEPFAR.
