The Save the Children International (SCI) in collaboration with the Tanzania Data Lab (dLab) organized a joint consultative workshop event on the children’s exclusion mapping using existing data on 18th October 2016 at the dLab space within the UDSM college of ICT, Kijitonyama campus in Dar es Salaam. The aim of the workshop was to raise awareness and understanding of the extent and drivers of exclusion, with emphasis on the most marginalized children’s groups especially girls. Save the Children is currently implementing its global campaign “Every Last Child” which focuses on reaching the most excluded children who face financial and discriminatory barriers to basic services.
